Q: Lucifer Morningstar is quite the piano player on the FOX series 'Lucifer.' But, can series star Tom Ellis play the piano in real life?

When he's not solving crimes with the lovely Detective Decker (Lauren German), Lucifer (Tom Ellis) spends his time making music at his club, Lux.

Unfortunately, while Lucifer Morningstar is an excellent pianist, Ellis is not so accomplished.

"I'm very musical, and I can play a little bit, but piano was never my instrument," he tells us. "Hopefully people believe I'm actually tinkling those ivories."

We believed it completely until Ellis told us otherwise, so he's either got an accomplished hand double who plays for him, or Ellis is just that talented at making believe playing.

His musical talents aren't going to waste any time soon though, since "Lucifer" makes good use of Ellis' stellar singing voice.

"The singing is definitely me," Ellis clarifies. "The singing is all me."

Barn raising scene The film Witness starred Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis. It was a suspense thriller set in the Amish community of America. The love scene was really the "Don't know much about history" scene. The barn raising scene was just that. All the neighbors and friends turned up to help a young couple (newlywed I think) literally raise a barn. The scene was significant as it showed the close relationship between the Amish people. The only sound was the hammering of nails and rousing background music. Barn Raising itself is a community event for the Amish people. The number of people helping make up for the lack of modern equipment and tools. Men and boys in the community help. The bulk of the work is completed in one day.
